Research & Development Strategy

Runyi New Material takes technological innovation as its core driving force, focusing on the development and process optimization of key reactions in fine chemicals. We adhere to a closed-loop model of "R&D-driven manufacturing, manufacturing feeding back into R&D," committed to efficiently transforming laboratory innovations into industrial productivity.

Strategic Positioning:

●Deeply cultivate three application areas: pharmaceutical intermediates, OLED materials, and optoelectronic materials

●Build core technology platforms characterized by hydrogenation, coupling, and low-temperature reactions

●Benchmark against international standards, continuously improving process safety, atom economy, and green chemistry levels

Core Technology Platforms

Hydrogenation: High-pressure hydrogenation (≤10 MPa), catalytic hydrogenation, asymmetric hydrogenation (pharmaceutical intermediate reduction, functional group transformation)

Coupling Reactions: Suzuki, Grignard, Ullmann, Buchwald-Hartwig (C-C bond formation, complex aromatic skeleton synthesis)

Low-Temperature Reactions: Precise control down to -80°C (highly active intermediate capture, chiral control)

Other Proprietary Technologies: Wittig reaction, halogenation, diazotization (olefin construction, aromatic functionalization)

Capability Highlights:

●Mastery of over 200 organic reaction types, covering full synthetic routes from simple fragments to complex molecules

●Led over 300 pilot projects cumulatively, with over 200 successfully commercialized

●End-to-end process scale-up capability from lab gram scale to plant ton scale

R&D Facilities

The company has built a modern R&D center equipped with world-class analytical and testing instruments, providing solid support for process development, quality control, and traceability.

Chromatography: HPLC, GC (purity testing, impurity analysis, reaction monitoring)

Mass Spectrometry: GC-MS (structural identification, trace impurity qualification)

Spectroscopy: IR, UV (functional group confirmation, quantitative analysis)

Structural Confirmation: NMR* (molecular structure confirmation, stereochemical analysis)

*Note: NMR testing is performed through partner institutions or third-party professional labs.

Facility Highlights:

●Lab-scale lab: standard fume hoods, parallel reactors, high-pressure autoclaves, etc.

●Pilot workshop: supports 50L-500L scale process validation, simulating industrial production conditions

●Analytical testing center: 24/7 response, providing real-time data support for R&D and production

Intellectual Property

Runyi New Material places great emphasis on independent innovation and IP protection, establishing a robust patent portfolio and management system.

Core Strategy: Build patent portfolios around key processes, new products, and new technologies

Current Achievements: Multiple process invention patents filed and granted

Continuous Deployment: 3-5 new patent applications annually, covering core products and emerging technologies
